Positioned amidst the Conjola National Park, Haven Holiday Resort sits along the inlet across from the Booderee National Park in Jervis Bay Territory, and is only a five-minute drive into the township of Sussex Inlet, Sussex Inlet Beach, or Swan Lake.
Haven Holiday Resort has 18 self-contained two and three apartments and villas onsite, with each able to sleep up to six guests, making it the perfect Sussex Inlet location for groups such as weddings and other events.
Rates are easily viewed on the Haven website so that guests can make informed decisions as to the best time for them to make a booking. Peak times do tend to fill up in advance, so it is always best to plan ahead if travelling in the busier, warmer holiday periods.
The Executive Residence is a private home away from home, with three bedrooms, two with queen-sized beds and one with two single beds, lounge, open plan dining and kitchen which comes with everything you could want in a holiday rental, small lock-up garage, and small private fenced yard that includes an undercover patio entertaining space with BBQ and seating.
The three stand-alone Villas sit on the hillside and enjoy leafy views of the resort below and feature three bedrooms, one with queen-sized bed, and the other two with two single beds each that are located both upstairs and downstairs. The open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge makes the most of the view outside the window, and there is a private balcony. There is also a BBQ and picnic area across from the Villas.
The two-bedroom apartments are the perfect size for families on a budget and sleep up to six guests. All of Haven's downstairs two-bedroom apartments come with undercover parking next to the accessible small step entry, whilst our two upstairs two-bedroom apartments are located above the wheelchair-accessible apartments and enjoy elevated views from the balcony.
All two-bedroom apartments feature and open-plan living, kitchen and dining, master bedroom with queen-sized bed, second bedroom with twin singles, and additional sleeping space provided by foldout sofa in the lounge room.
Haven also has two wheelchair-accessible two-bedroom apartments that feature ramps to entry, wide front door, sliding door entry via lounge and master bedroom, spacious bathroom with grab rails and room for shower seating, undercover parking at side of apartment with drop off space at the entrance. These apartments also sleep up to six-guests at no extra charge.
Haven's facilities include a heated pool that features an accessible ramp to the pool area, deck chair seating, and pool hoist that can be fitted on request for guests with accessibility needs. The pool is located near the resort entrance on the righthand side at the bottom of the slope, across from the Executive Residence and Wheelchair Accessible Apartments.
The children's play area is located near the pool and includes play equipment suitable for younger children and trampolines.
There are shared BBQ areas and picnic tables that are scattered throughout the grounds.
Haven has its own access down the embarkment to the waters of Sussex Inlet, great for a dip in the warmer months or fishing all year 'round.
There is a walking track from Haven that follows the banks of the inlet all the way into town. The Haven - Alamein Track takes approximately 30minutes. There are some steps and is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
