Unfortunately due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the recent Australian Government regulations the Federation of Community Sporting & Workers Clubs will be closing swimming pools at our 3 of our Holiday Resorts as of midnight 25th March 2020, Seaside Holiday Resort Fingal Bay, Haven Holiday Resort Sussex Inlet & Riverside Holiday Resort Urunga. As of 30th March 2020 all resorts have had to close recreational play equipment, playgrounds & BBQ facilities.

Together with the Australian community we will continue to do all we can to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

A media statement from the Prime Minister on current corona measures can be viewed at https://www.pm.gov.au/media/update-coronavirus-measures-24-March-2020

Recreation parks are still open, and we encourage people to exercise but please make sure that you observe the social distancing rules - please remember that there are fines in place for breaching these rules.

If we don't follow these rules the NSW Police as of midnight on the 25 March have the power to issue on-the-spot fines of $1000 to individuals and $5000 for businesses who do the wrong thing.

For example, if a business was hosting a yoga session in Cooke Park with over 10 people, the business who organised it will get $5000 fine and the individuals at the session will get a $1000 fine

This is in addition to the existing enforcement powers available to officers, which include issuing Court Attendance Notices with a maximum penalty of up to $11,000 and/or six months imprisonment for individuals.

All Holiday Resorts are open for business and detailed procedures for prevention of COVID-19 within our individual Resort can be viewed here on our website.

We wish you all the best through this hard time and hope to welcome you all to one of our 3 Holiday Resorts sometime soon.
