Riverside Holiday Resort wins GOLD at the NSW Tourism Awards for Self-Contained Accommodation and Excellence in Accessible Accommodation and Enters the Hall of Fame.
Our team at Riverside Holiday Resort Urunga are still celebrating taking home GOLD in the NSW Tourism Awards for 2021 held in a virtual gala event on the evening of Thursday evening February 3, 2022 in the categories of ‘Excellence in Accessible Tourism’ and ‘Self-Contained Accommodation’, as well as being inducted into the prestigious NSW Tourism Awards Hall of Fame.
The awards saw 89 incredible finalists over 29 tourism categories come together in a celebration of resilience, with strong representation from the Coffs Coast including The Giingan Experience by Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation, The Observatory Holiday Apartments, Wajaana Yaam Gumbaynggirr Adventure Tours and Coffs Skydivers all “taking home” awards on the night.
It is the third year in a row that Riverside has won Gold in the category of ‘Self-Contained Accommodation’ which has earned them a spot in the coveted Hall of Fame, and the second year that they have won the ‘Excellence in Accessible Tourism’ category for their commitment to delivering accessible accommodation so that everyone, regardless of their abilities, is able to live their best lives.
